"In memory of my mother, Elvira (Roma) Talbot."

The “Al Rosen Studio” in Chester. It was located in the rear of Silver’s 5 & 10 at the corner of 5th Street and (I believe it was Edgmont Avenue) now called the Avenue of the States, the main street running thru the shopping district of Chester. My Mother, Elvira (Roma) Talbot, worked for Al Rosen for several years during the 40’s. This is a picture of the studio and a picture of her working there. She took pictures and did what was called pastels. She colorized the pictures. She was really pretty good, because Kodak offered her a job but my dad wouldn’t let her take it. Of course she was really a pretty woman and I’m sure that had something to do with it too .lol…
