"The city has more recreation than just basketball, football, and biddy league. Another recreation in the city is drill teams and youth bands which play a major part in the city's youth area. These organizations travel state to state representing Chester city.

Some of these groups have histories that go back as far as 30 years ago the others are new representors. When the city has a holiday or event the first thing they call on is the drill teams.

Here are a few names:

Mighty Warriors 1970's early 80's
Fruit of the Earth 1980's
Bennet Barrets 1980's
East Side Angels 1980's
Lamokin Village Strutters 1980's
Wm. Penn Hornets formerly the Jaguires mid 70's until mid 90's

and the new comers.....
The Golden Caverliers
Infinity Marching Marauders
Imperial Marvelettes
Bennet Highsteppers
Step to This
Majestic Flex
The Diamonds

Just to name a few. they all have pictures that represent the history of the adults that were once kids here in the city."
