Text of Obituary: 

William G. Keesey, 86, an old Chester resident, died early today at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jeffries, Upland and Seminary avenues, after a long illness.

A native of Philadelphia, Mr. Keesey came to the city as a young man and worked in many of the riverfront plants as a machinist. He was the husband of the late Sarah Morton Keesey.

At the time of his death he was the oldest member of the Hanley Hose Company.

Besides Mrs. Jeffries, he is survived by a son, Morton H., and two daughters, Mrs. John A. Bullock and Mrs. William Schlosbon, all of Chester.

Mr. Keesey attended the old Gilbert Academy and Swarthmore College.

Funeral services are to be held at the convenience of the family.

Notes: Mr. Keesey was born 11/8/1860. He is interred at Chester Rural Cemetery.
