Marguerite J. Bannister, aka Brandi Wills, 47, of Chester, a professional singer, songwriter, recording artist and entertainer, died March 24 at Crozer-Chester Medical Center.

She was born in Chester and educated in the Chester Upland School District. Her most popular song was "Sunshine."

She was the daughter of the late Thomas L. Pinder and Dorothy T. Williams-Pinder, the mother of the late Shameka Pinder, and the sister of the late Caroline E. Pinder-Johnson.

Survivors: Husband, Ronald E. Bannister Jr. of Chester; son, Nathaniel Brown Walker Pinder of Sicklerville, N.J.; stepchildren, Janay Graham, Janine Graham, Ronald E. Bannister III and Juakira Gordon, all of Chester; sisters, Delores M. Pinder-Deshields of Crum Lynne, Ridley Township, Yvonne E. Pinder and Ruth Pinder, both of Chester; one grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Service: Noon Friday at the First Pentecostal Holy Church, 324 Pusey St., Chester

Visitation: 10 a.m. - noon Friday at the church.

Burial: Haven Memorial Cemetery, Chester Township.

Arrangements: Hunt Irving Funeral Home
