Photo: Last Name: DeCostanza First Name: Anthony Middle Name: Frank Maiden Name: "Bambi" Date of Death: 10/25/1987 Newspaper: Date of Newspaper: Contributor: Theresa DeCostanza Text of Obituary: Anthony Frank "Bambi" DeCostanza, 63, of Woodlyn, a member Ange Lenzi Trio (formerly Pete Bassie Trio) for many years, died Sunday at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Born in Chester, he was the son of the late Vito and Maria DeCostanza. Mr. DeCostanza was employed by General Motors for 37 years. A veteran of World War II, Mr. DeCostanza was a member of Post 01521, Veterans of Foreign Wars of Ridley Township. He played drums with The Pete Bassie Trio and Ange Lenzi Trio for many years at the West End Boat Club, where he was an active member for 25 years. He is survived by a wife, Joan DeCostanza; two daughters, Donna DeCostanza and Theresa DeCostanza; a son, Anthony DeCostanza; two sisters, Rachel Vella and Carmella Deldeo; two brothers, Michael DeCostanza and William DeCostanza; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday from the Nacrelli Molla Funeral Home, 2217 Providence Ave., Chester. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Eddystone. Burial will be in Immaculate Heart Cemetary, Upper Chichester. Calling hours will be after 7 tonight at the funeral home. Notes:
