FIRST LEG OF REPAVED ROAD OPEN With fervent if silent cheers Delaware County motorists who cross the Governor Printz bridge into Chester several times a day greeted the opening of the "Shoemakerville Hill" road recently. That narrow but innocent-looking hill was one of the nastiest driving hazards in the county till now. With the new width, removal of the high crown, a gentler grade, and a better-traction surface this entrance to Chester is now a credit to City Council. When the repaving job is completed on Providence Avenue, Route 320 will be a joy to travel. Thanks to Harvey S. Martin
