Today I had the rare pleasure to revisit Holy Ghost Church. It had been years since I have been in the church. It is still as beautiful, if not more so, than I remembered. The CCD committee was having Holubuchi and cabbage soup sale. This inspired the trip into Chester. All I can say to those that did not get there today (Saturday) try tomorrow. The UKRAINIAN KITCHEN at Holy Ghost still lives.
The cabbage soup took me back to when my Mom was alive. I came there expecting Christmas Kapusta, but had a soup very similar to one Mom made, hers with a few other ingredients. Having tasted the soup...uumm uumm good will never compare.
To the committee thank you for being so kind and allowing me to take a picture or three while you were all so busy. and I expect tired.. again thank you.
