May's Christmas Trees
2nd & Parker St.

"Today we went to buy our Christmas Tree at May's which is located at Second and Parker Streets in Chester, PA.  May's it seems has been in Chester forever.  A real Second Streeter, for many a family tradition.

We pulled up to the curb on Parker Street and walked into the Christmas Tree area to be greeted with the wonderful aroma of Christmas and the sound of Christmas Carols filling the air.  The familiar pile of wood was right at the gate as you entered.  To keep the workers hands warm when the winter winds begin to bite.  Several people were on hand to help find the tree I wanted.  Not just any tree, the tree had to have the right touch.  I immediately saw that I  would have no problem.   The yard was full and we could choose from a large variety.

I went there with only one tree in mind.  I was looking for just the right tree.  You know, the one that is full, but not to full, the one that is tall, but not too tall, not the Charlie Brown tree that Mom and Dad would buy, you know...
