A native of Chester, he attended public schools and Chester High School. He lives at 108 Flower st. with his wife, Mildred C., and daughter, Drucilla, 9.

Richardson is a member of Central Rest Club and St. Daniel's Methodist Church. An avid sports fan, he played first base on several Chester baseball teams years ago.
