L. Morgan
(A biographical sketch from a Chester Times or Delaware County Daily Times newspaper clipping, "Know Your Police" from the collection of John C. "Snakes" Boyle, contributed by his granddaughters, Jane Boyle & Patty Boyle.) A man of varied talents is Paul L. Morgan, appointed to the Chester police department on Jan. 23. Active in school and college in West Virginia in football and baseball, he served as a surgical technician during his four years in the Army Medical Corps. During that time he spent two years in Europe and rose to the rank of staff sergeant. Returning to Chester he went to work for the General Chemical Co. as an insulator for 4 1/2 years. And now he is a policeman. Morgan is married to the former Mary C. Duke and they live at 2108 W. 4th St. He was educated in Ohio and West Virginia public schools and attended Storer College, Harper's Ferry, W. Va., for a year.
