Thomas Rudolph (1836-42) was born in 1797. When hardly eighteen, he was drafted as a private in Captain William Morgan’s Company, First Brigade, Third Division of Pennsylvania Militia, and served with his command at Camp Gaines during the months of September and October, 1814. Thomas Rudolph died November 8, 1882, aged 86 years.
