Rodman Page (A biographical sketch taken from One Hundred Years, The Delaware County National Bank Chester, PA 1814-1914) Years in parentheses are years of service as a Director of The Bank of Delaware County and/or The Delaware County National Bank Louis Rodman Page (Dec. 2,
1902--), son of Joseph French and Ellen (Hansell) Page, was born in
Philadelphia, November 25, 1861. He was educated at Rugby Academy,
Philadelphia, entered the University of Pennsylvania in 1879, and
graduated therefrom in the class of 1883. Mr. Page is a director and
treasurer of the Crozer Land Association, Crozer Coal and Coke Company,
and holds the like offices in the Upland Coal and Coke Company, and the
Page Coal and Coke Company, in both of which he was one of the organizers
of the corporation. He was a member of the Upland Borough Council, to
which he was elected in February, 1902. When the membership on the board
of directors of The Delaware County National Bank was increased in number,
Mr. Page was elected to that body. Mr. Page now resides at Villa Nova,
Montgomery county. [Obituary] |
