Henry and Sarah (Kerlin) Odenheimer, was born at Chester, 1789. His father
died when his son was four years old. The family were the owners of
valuable real estate at Marcus Hook. John W. Odenheimer entered commercial
life; he became a leading merchant in Philadelphia, and after retiring
from business resided at Burlington, N. J., where he died July 4, 1876, in
his 87th year. He was the father of the Rt. Reverend William Henry
Odenheimer, Episcopal Bishop of New Jersey. [Obituary] |
