Judge John Martin Broomall, 3d, was elevated to the bench of the Courts of Common Pleas and Quarter Sessions of Delaware County by Governor Pinchot on June 25, 1926.  He resides in Media.  When 21 years old he was admitted to the Bar, since which time he has held high rank among those of the legal profession hereabout.  Judge Broomall was born in 1878, on June 26, the son of John M. Broomall, Jr., and Elizabeth Cook Broomall.  His wife is Margaret Hamilton Broomall, and their children are Margaret Armstrong Broomall, John Martin Broomall, 4th, Katherine Vaughan Broomall and Thomas Hamilton Broomall.  He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Delaware County Bar Associations, and of the Delaware County Historical Society.  Judge Broomall is a veteran of the Spanish-American War.   In politics an independent Republican.  His hobby is collecting rare stamps and coins; his sport he derives from travel.
