"William C. Greifzu was a Cpl. in the 1st Engineer Regiment, 1st Infantry Division, and died May 16, 1918.

"He is buried in the Oise-Aisne American Cemetery in France, the same cemetery that the poet Joyce Kilmer is buried in. "
