I'm writing a paper for an Alternate Route Teacher's class that I'm taking and it took me back to my days at Pulaski (1967 to 70)...the fire, half days all of that. I remember Mr. Fitzsimmons, Mr. Washington, gym class (shirts - vs.- skins) I hated being skins. And taking showers. Man how times have changed. Kids need to go back to taking showers...they stink after gym. Who remembers Section fights? I was always in P. Luckily we never had any.

I LOVED the music teacher, Mr.Fitzsimmons as he did those productions SO well..Remember "Hello Dolly" for one? Didn't go to Pulaski, but used to play on the baseball field as a kid; my grandparents lived at 6th & Booth and I would always venture over there in the late 60's early 70's. Hello Tina. Your Aunt was our neighbor fror sure. She did have a beauty salon. I remember her pretty good and we moved from there when i was 5.She always gave me and my brothers bubble gum and would tell us not to swallow it. Hello Tina.I do not know you either butyour last name Teofilak is one that is very famiiar to me.As a young child we had a neighbor named Mrs.Teofilak perhaps your Grandma.At the time we live on west 9th street across from Picway shoes.That was the early 70's.As for elementary school i went to Holy Ghost in K then St.Mikes for 1,2,&3.Then for 4th and 5 th William Penn.And yes we are probably less then 30 minutes away.Nice seeing some more people from Chester.

i had mr sheldon at chester high when it was half sessions after the fire. attended pulaski 70-72. my two older brothers and a sister also attended pulaski. got to chester last year for a family reunion and it was heartbreaking to see how the west end has changed, but i have wonderful memories of second and booth and the great friends i had.

Let me be the first to drop in to this site...I have alot of memories of my days at Pulaski...as I am sure many of you out there do...One of MY favorites is of Mr. Fitzsimmons musicals he put on. The best one in my opinion, was 'Hello Dolly!' Man did he do a great job of that one..James Sterling played the lead role...I think James Sterling played the lead role in "Oliver" also..Not sure on that one..Anyone remember?
