Buenos Dias! Como esta Usted? Yo soy bueno. I am still exploring this State.
Since over the years, I have lived in all 4 quadrants, I have seen quite a bit
here, as well as much of the other Western States. I always thought that
Southern Colorado was a nice area. Places like Cripple Creek and Grand Junction
are quaint, as well as Telluride and Durango. Lately, I have been keeping busy
building hiking trails for the B.L.M.. Waiting for this contract to end, so I
can launch a pilot project for an original educational program of my own. It is
slated to recieve both Federal and State funding in the near future, but I will
probably jump on it a bit sooner,as I actually had intended it to begin as a
Summer program for the students. Anyhow, that is the plan. Best wishes, and take

Just had a delightful chat with Ann Belliga regarding upcoming 1967 reunion.

Why do the people of N.P. post a note and then never respond ? Can someone
please tell me because the class of 68 is terrible. Then again are some of the
other people I knew back then . What gives ? I would love to have someone fill
me in because I think it's strange . What is the harm in saying --How have you
been--If you ever heard about or went to a 68 reunion you would know what I
mean.I girl of our class that was voted most friendliest told me that was the
worst time of her life and didn't want to hear from anybody in that class. Can

I am looking for anyone who graduated from NETHER PROVIDENCE HIGH SCHOOL in
1955 and 1956. I would have graduated in 1956 but after finishing 11th grade at
NPHS I transferred to the THADEUS STEVENS TRADE SCHOOL in Lancaster, PA. While
attending NPHS I lived a short way down the street from the high school in what
was then called the WALLINGFORD HOME. It was a home for children either orphaned
or, as in my case, with a single parent. I lived there from 1950 to 1956. I

Class of 68--lived in Garden City , hung at Nick's where I ran a tab . I see
Mary was on the site I have to tell you I still tell my kids stories about the
great things that when on at Nick's. Palmer ,Daley,Crow,Hamilton, Mozzone,
Grayson, DiAmicis just to name a few loved that place. I was out on
classmates.com and e-mailed a few people from the 68 class and rec'd no
responses--what's up with that. Hey, drop me a line and we will chat. The 68
class did have the best cross-country team ever ,though. In December Rich
Patterson(70) and his friends threw a reunion party for coach Hayes and
everything was nice. They did a terrific job.

I would have graduated in 1960, but in Dec. 1959 decided to go into the Navy,
and leave all my friends and acquaintances that I started with in the Garden
City Grammer School Kindergarden, Miss McVey. I have corresponded with Duane
Stevens and Dave Spedden, and have e-mailed Bob Swavely as well. I didn't know
it, but Duane had been working with my brother-in laws at Scott's for many
years. After I moved from the project to Maple Road, and got in with the crowd
there, I became known as Moose, for anyone who might remember that better than
Bob Thomas. I often wonder where people are, Brad Hessler, Danny Kerns, Marcy

I grew up on Hastings Ave and would walk to Nick's and get the biggest ice
cream cones(Hand dipped). I remember licking the wax paper that Mrs. Nick would
put on top of the ice cream so I wouldn't miss any! $1 could get me a big bag of
penny candy! I remember everyone from "The City" hangin' out in front.

This is a great site! Well organized. Enjoyed seeing old pictures of Chester
Park where I remember going for some school picnics when I attended Nether

It's fun seeing the notes from Duane Stephens (I could NEVER beat him with

I read a message talking about another Bulldog signing in and I forgot that
while I graduated with the St. James Bulldogs I was also a Bulldog at NP. I went
to school in NP from 1st grade through Freshman year and had a great time at all
