Charles VanRiper
Charles Van Riper, 75, of Lincoln Delaware, formerly a resident of Upland for forty years,
died at his late home January 29. He is survived by his wife and the following
children: Harry Van Riper, of Bryn Mawr; Mrs. Frank Bramble of Boothwyn; Mrs.
William Leary and Miss Mary Van Riper of Chester; Mrs. Edward Buza, Frank and Roy Van
Riper of Claymont. Two sisters reside in Upland, Mrs. Elisha Moore and Mrs. Edward
Dalton; one, Mrs. K.A. Cobb in New York, and another, Mrs. Charles Van Leer in
Philadelphia. A brother, Harmon J. Van Riper, lives in Minneapolis. Ten
grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held from a daughter's residence, Mrs. Frank Bramble, of 23 Clement
Avenue, Boothwyn Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the Chester
Rural Cemetery.
